Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. When it is getting close to bedtime, I find I become more and more restless. It feels like the day isn’t over yet, like I can’t sleep until I’ve done something, accomplished something. Like maybe I haven’t done anything worthwhile all day and to sleep is to waste the day. Sometimes this happens even if I’ve been productive, but if I judge myself as having not done enough, I feel like this.
It ends up a lot with me staying up, watching youtube videos because I don’t feel comfortable going to bed, and know I won’t be able to sleep. Has anybody here felt like this? Did you find ways to stop doing this?

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
A post and/or sharing in my live support groups allot like this one is often the first tool I pull from my box. Getting ^it^ into words helps me figure out which tool to ply next.
How 'bout it? Did it help?
Gentle support while you find the tools which work for you.
Keep a journal to help you figure out your pattern of calm and use that to help you find a way to build calm into the night time routine.
Best wishes.
