Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Why fleeting? Because i don't trust my calm, soothed mind and body to remain in this state very long.
It is 7:16 AM and i have been awake since around 2:30 AM with my anxiety slowly spiking.BY around 5 AM it had spiked so bad that on a scale of 1-10 my anxiety was about a 50.So concious of my pounding heart, and, sadly. i know you all know how awful that is.
i took my morning meds (My regualr morning meds plus my prns) but it just seemed like my brain and body were just fighting them.i couldn't calm down and felt on the verge of a full blown panic attack.
i am under a whole lot of stress right now and i am having a really tough time living in the moment when it seems like my every moment is just paralyzing anxiety. And worry after worry after worry.Oh the worst case scenarios my head can come up with! Then my ocd takes over and puts my fears on a loop.Everything, everything seems out of my control.Am i just supposed to accept that? i so want to feel empowered in my life.Just, stronger and more resilient.Tough luck.
Well.i had a hot lavender and epsom salts bath, and then afterward i was able to do a little bit of box breathing and i guess my meds have kicked in.i feel better.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
While it may not works as fast as you want it to, it will work eventually.
Hard work pays off, sadly you just have to be patient.
Hope your calm lasts as long as you need it to today!!
Peace, hugs, and love to you!!!
But that is me and every healing journey is unique.
Continued support for your own healing journey, Silver.
