I'm 26, never had a boyfriend. I've had pretty bad anxiety in the past (I take clonzapam- sorry about the spelling) Currently I've been trying to get myself to go out on dates. I went on two dates with this one guy. I like him because he does understand me and is willing to go as slow as I want. But I just get so sad because I could never imagine myself *being* in a relationship or kissing, or anything of the sort. The whole thought just makes me so nervous and just plain old scared to death. He held my hand on our last date and that was fine for the most part. Any advice? I don't know how to get more comfortable. He's doing everything right. I just feel like I can't do anything.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Changing the pattern of thinking with anxiety is the first step in finding the "fun" of anxiety. You'll feel better once you try it and see the difference.
Best wishes!
Since then I have been dumped three times and never knew why. I am really interested in a man who is well traveled and interesting. But I don't know how to approach him about anything more than talking while I am at work. When I lose my job the end of the month, I may never see him again.
What I am thinking of doing is asking if he would like to email just as friends. I do this with others I have met in various places.
I am not a big kisser for some reason. Just never got into it. Holding hands is much more romantic. If he is willing to go slow, you have a winner in my opinion.
Enjoy the moment.
