Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Sorry to say that I bailed on this site months ago. I was doing a bit better working with meds and therapy and perhaps got too cocky in thinking I had beat this anxiety/depression villan. But apparently it's back bigger than ever - this time with anxiety winning over depression. The least "little" thing - at least what would be little to most people sends me into a tailspin. For example, in the past it was a tooth extraction and now it's being called for Jury Duty. I just can't seem to cope when things veer from the norm.
I am looking to connect/reconnect with people who understand without judging. I am single, never married, no children, very small family and just a few people I call friends. I will try very, very hard to be a better Daily Strength friend this time around if you will give me a second chance.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Anxiety is awful and we are all here fighting it together. Sometimes it's good to take breaks and come back and that it totes fine. You're always welcome.
I've done the exact same thing and come back recently to reconnect with DS and the great people who as you said will understand without judging.
Know that although it feels like you're alone, you're not. There will be plenty of people here who are going to want to help. Myself included if you need a figurative ear.
Be well x
I'm fairly new here myself. I think it is fine to come and go according to your needs. People here seem great at understanding and encouraging and not judging each other. The more we share, the more we can learn from each other.
Hope your tooth extraction turned out well. I've been for jury duty a few times, and where I went, it was very organized and kind of boring. My suggestion: Bring a book or something else to do while you are waiting.
Best wishes, and know you are not alone.
so..no worries...My hands went numb when I first opened that letter and I was just a week on cipralex. I had suffered for weeks trying to help myself feel better by reading up on Adrenal fatique and trying to follow the program of cutting back on sugar, eating more protein and getting to bed by 10 pm...what a stupid program..I wasted my money on natural products that just can't possibly help when this is a chronic condition. Adrenals might get healed but it would just be a matter of time and my anxiety over health issues would drive me right back into the abyss again. So...here we are together and we understand one another here..I am glad to find help and support here...
Health issues are what drives my anxiety and after having to get all my upper teeth out...go for a full upper denture and a partial on the bottom I know exactly what you are talking about...Jury duty or teeth extractions are two of the most frightening experiences that we as anxiety sufferers have to endure..
Lets stick together and be understanding....Welcome This is the place to find friends for sure
