Hello,
I'm new here and just wanted to say hi. I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder about 3 years ago. I was on zoloft for 2 years and weaned myself off a year ago. About 3 weeks ago I had my first panic attack in a long time. I made an appointment with a therapist and still have to wait 2 weeks before i can see them. I felt like I needed to go the ER during a panic attack, but waited on my husband's suggestion and went to urgent care the next day. Urgent care said they couldn't help me and I should go to ER. I went to my GP a few days later and they gave me Zoloft again and very hesitantly gave me 7 pills of .5 mg of Clonopan. Well, .5mg doesnt do much at all for my panic attacks, so after waiting 30 minutes i took 2. Zoloft gave me horrible stomach pains. She switched me to Prozac today, but havent started taking it yet. Prozac can take up to 6 weeks to work, what do i do until then? she doesnt want to give me anymore benzo cause she says theyre too addictive. What my alternative, go to the ER? I feel like nobody wants to help me at this point and is too afraid to perscribe me the one medication that helps my panic attacks, which is making my anxiety worse! I also have anxiety about taking medication at all. I have an appointment with a naturopath in a few days to see if i can do this drug free. We shall see. I just can't live like this anymore!

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
You don't need to go see anyone during your panic attacks, take some clonazepam and go walk outside, listen to your husband and tell him how you feel. He might help you see what is real and what is not. Good luck! There are many suffering the same thing out there, like me
