Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Yesterday my husband and daughter were argueing, they argue like husband and wife not father and daughter. Usually it doesnt bother me too much, but yesterday I nearly walked out on them. Where I would go I dont know, my parents are long dead, I have no siblings, no friends that would take me in, but it was just too much. They dont know how I was feeling for the rest of the day,but I just hope they dont squabble again to day, it was so close to me putting my coat on and going God knows where.
I've been my daughters carer for 31 years, I havent got money to get someone in to look after her, I seem to be stuck with it. Its not easy to get help in Britain, I get two days a week when she is in a care centre, where we have to take her and pick her up from. Which in a way doesnt make it a break.
My husbands health is deiteriatiing he falls, he has bowel problems, and will have to give up driving soon, and I dont drive. When I was learning my family including my parents said that they wouldnt get into a car with me driving it. So I gave up. I wish I had ignored them, because where we are now, we have one bus an hour, or you have to walk to town about 30 mins. Getting all the medication without a car will become very hard as there is so much of it. I am at a loss of what to do.

I'm finally home having been gone since 11 AM. I'm burning up with a fever. My older sister and her man let me drive home with them because so was over the day. Mom behaved herself which was my main worry. I'm ok...

Enough is Enough. A few years ago, I was on disability and spent a lot of time caring for my Aunt. One particular Tuesday, I remember standing at my kitchen sink and being excited because I had the day to myself. I was so happy, until my Aunt called, frantic that she dropped and broke her blood pressure monitor and needed a new one. I was so wigged out! I didn't leave my house and...

house? Can you call the nearby churches to see if
they can help? Talk to your daughters doctor or your doctor
and see if they have any suggestions to help you with
your situation. A charity that helps people. Try to find
help. There may be some somewhere. And do tell your
daughter and husband how you feel about their arguments.
Do you have rideshare like Uber or Lyft as it is called here in the USA? You use an app from a smart phone and would have to learn to use it but it is not that hard. And would give you independence. The cost of having a car and paying insurance and gasoline is often higher than using a ride share program.
You are facing what feels like an impossible situation. But there are solutions. And I have confidence you can learn to drive once again. What your family said was cruel and frankly, every driver has to learn for months if not years at first. No learning to drive person is all that good at driving!
When my own husband is being argumentative, I often just go outside. Or I put on headphones and listen to music.
