Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

As the indecently exposed smiles have begun returning here in my neck of the woods, I remain socially paralyzed to trust the sustainability of the reopening. The Virus is doing what viruses do and mutating. Why is the 5th identified mutation of The Virus not being called, "COVID-24?" Now that the germaphobes of the world have been granted the power to shutdown the world, I find it hard to believe they are going to give up that control so easily. As I type out my confusions here, my paranoia is reviewing history for possible oppression antics the current batch of tyrants might be gathering their forces to activate. Am I already on their Blacklist for rounding up and imprisoning for their next global takeover? Shame on me for not being properly afraid of Natural process.
This morning's read from "Meditations for People Who Worry" seems appropriate to the theme. Just sharing.

Holding On to Hurts
Don't get your nickers in a knot. Nothing is solved and it just makes you walk funny ~Kathryn Carpenter
Right! Who wants to get their knickers (underpants, that is!) in a knot?
Sometimes it's important to get right down to the basics. None of this psychology about "Mother did this" ___"Daddy didn't do that." Just the basics.
Here we are. We are grown people. All kinds of things may have happened to us while we were growing up. Sometimes even horrible things. We need to let ourselves know that. We neec to work through the feelings we have from those experiences and learn from them. And we need to move on. I have often said, "Victims never gett better. They just get bitter." We may have been victimized, and when we choose to be victims we put a halt on our lives.
Each of us has the life we have. It is the clay we have to work with.
Holding on to our old wounds is like having a knot in our knickers. It makes us walk through life funny.

Healing the psychic wounds of child sex trafficking was a journey from victim to survivor to thriver. Can I ply lessons learned in that journey to the process of surviving Coronaville? Should I?

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Your link didn't let me get too close a look, but guessing from the ISBN, it appears to be an earlier edition of the book I have. I thoroughly enjoy her generalized approach to diverse cultural wisdom. No agendas to sell. Just food for thought.
Thank you, Markus Questionarius. Peace out, dude.
I'm with you on the scare tactics, MTD. I work in animal husbandry. I can't afford the germaphobia so beloved by the medical industry. 99% is far better odds than I have against the rooster in my hen house. But those masked propaganda peddlers, their marshal laws and needles are scaring the unholies out of me.
In God I trust.
