Update: I toasted the bud and I'm feeling fresh and crispy. Feels like Christmas morning in July.
And for some strange reason I want to munch a double cheese pepperoni pie while watching Scooby Doo toons.
Kinda kidding here. I smoked for 15 years. But I had to quit due to random employment drug screens.
But 20 years later, I'm smoking again.
But I can only smoke it if I'm also drinking beer at the same time. It does heighten my anxiety and significantly worsens my paranoia.
The alcohol counteracts the THC effect. Not long ago I was at a country western bar, and I stepped out back to get high with strangers.
When I went back inside, and bellied up to the bar, it felt like I was having a really bad acid trip. I was freaking the F out. Having a massive panic attack. I had to slam several shots of whisky to chill my psychosis.
Final note: I do not advise smoking pot if you have a serious personality disorder or you're maybe paranoid schizophrenic, and struggle to maintain your inner core identity. That's partly my problem. I'm never really sure who I am. And when I smoke pot or drop acid I feel like I might be Elmer Fudd.
If the weed is messing with your mind, raising your anxiety... step back from the bong for 20 years, like I did.
As for CBD oils, Delta 8 or whatever.. I have no personal experience with such products, and right now I'm probably more concerned about the Delta Covid variant.
I believe it is important to note that there is no script in the pharmacy that is right for everybody. I have a hyper-active metabolism. Folks with mellower metabolisms do seem to respond differently.
