I was just recently diagnosed with panic disorder and I can understand how hard and debilitating it can be. What helps me sometimes is to remind myself that since there are no particular triggers, I shouldn’t necessarily be afraid of anything in particular. Like you, I still find it hard to get out and do things and have suicidal thoughts as well but bringing my Xanax with me everywhere helps ease my tension a bit and forcing myself to get out and confront things that I thought were scary helps a little bit too. Just remember to take it a day at a time and even when you don’t feel like it, you are stronger than your anxiety disorder.
