Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Remember that previous post I shared in this group called "What the heck just happened!?" Well, as the title states, it happened again. I'm still quivering at this moment while I type this. I vividly remembered somehow. I suddenly panicked today after forgetting a simple single subject. I know it normally happens, but it's not like I intended to panic. I cried nonstop while I was also violently shaking on the cold, hard floor. Eventually, I stopped wailing, considering what my neighbors would've thought when hearing that without context. Tears continued to stream down my cheeks and I was still shaking. I felt so paralyzed on the floor, and all I wanted to, for some reason, is to smash a chair or couch leg on my chest (I don't really know, to be honest). I would like to know if something similar has happened to anyone who does or doesn't have any kind of anxiety, and if it's normal. I'm scared that this will happen again!

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

When I'm scared something will happen, it eases my fears to plan on it. Kinda like I ease my fear of natural disasters by putting together a plan for what to do if one happens. Such planning has saved my both my physical and mental butts more than once. The hits still keep coming, but having a backup plan helps.
Gentle support while you work through your own, PopPop.
Sometimes when I overreact and get upset over little things, I just need to space out, zen out, spend time nurturing and nourishing myself.
Also, if you are on any medications, could these panic attacks be a side effect?
Sometimes when I am panicking but it feels totally out of place, like it's not me and there is no reason for it to happen, it turns out my friend had a panic attack on that same day. Kind of like sympathy pain. Something to consider, though certainly don't negate all the medical possibilities as well.
