Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. Everyday I wake up and just feel this immense sense of dread and worry about the day ahead. Instead of thinking about everything that could go right, I just seem to predict that everything is going to go wrong. During the day, if I even do the slightest, smallest thing wrong I can't stop thinking about it, and then get this overwhelming sense of paranoia for the next day (sometimes even the next week). I wake up late at night and remember all of the things I regret or have done wrong, or sometimes I don't even sleep thinking about these things. Does anyone have any advice for how to make this uncontrollable worrying stop? Would love a good nights sleep sometime soon

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
You are far from alone with this phenom. It sucks like an industrial hoover, both figuratively and literally.
You are already working my frontline tool for gaining control of uncontrollable worry. Getting my current worries into words before they escalate far enough to rob me of sleep goes a long way toward helping me find better ways to cope.
How 'bout it? Did making this post help any? Even if it only helped a little, it is a solid step toward regaining control.
Gentle support while you sort, Seeki. You are not alone. Welcome aboard.

Keep a journal and write in it frequently. This will give you clues to ways to improve your balance naturally.
