I'm going to an interview on Monday morning at 8:30 (!) Ungodly hour in my opinion-at least as of late!
I'm so twisted up about this already. I'm nervous and my anxiety is at an all-time high. I just took 2 Klonopin. I usually just take one (0.5mg) sometimes half of one. I can take up to 2 a day if I need them. Usually one puts me right to sleep or at least makes me sleepy and relaxed. I'm wired right now..........
This position would offer significantly more money than my old job & the benefits would be awesome. My husband is so supportive--he deals with anxiety as well. He told me today, "Look if you get the job, great. If don't get the job, it's still great, because you'll have gone out there & done something that made you nervous & lived to tell about it!" I'm so lucky to have him. He also reassured me that financially we are in a pretty good place right now---knock on wood.
What can I do? I'm practicing interview questions, doing yoga, deep breathing, etc. Any other helpful tips?

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Your husband has the right idea. Don't focus on the job part of it. It is up to them to decided if you are right for the job. Instead, focus on what YOU can control, and that is that you are going to go out there and do your best and be able to put a notch in your bravery belt. That in itself, is a huge thing. Lots of luck!
All you do is present your self, be positive, and know you're doing just fine!
Best wishes on a successful interview on Monday!
I love watching the sun rise in the morning. I can understand how people want the world to wake up later, so give yourself an extra moment to enjoy the view.
Best of luck.
You know what I used to do when I'd go on an interview, I would get dressed up in my best clothes and make sure I had a great resume to take with me and then I went on the interview and presented myself as if I was the only person for the job!
I know that sounds conceited, but when I'd go on interviews, I'd almost make it a game for myself and somehow that always made me very confident--almost like I was an actress in a show! Maybe something like that would work for you! : )
