Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I have missed the last two weeks of school and work. I've been throwing up with a fever and so exhausted that I am out of focus. Even messing up my speech, mashing words together or saying the wrong words or being completely inaudible.
This morning I felt ok. I woke up freaking over how I'm going to fail school and lose my job. I quick got dressed and drove to work/school. While driving I noticed that my peripheral vision is littered with small black dots bouncing around.
Called my doctor to make appointment, found out I am dismissed from her office because of "noncompliance." I unknowingly forgot my last appointment as I have done so in the past. I guess it was the last straw.
I am now home trying to focus. My whole life feels like it's falling apart for the 100th time.
I made an appointment with a new doctor. I called and left a message to make an appointment with the psychiatrist.
I am so anxious but bizarrely calm. I'm so out of focus that although I am freaking out about my life being fucked up, I'm also almost apathetic about the whole thing. I just want to sleep.

Regarding the anxiety you're having: It's not your fault at all that these things are happening. You're not screwing up your life or ruining anything. Everybody gets really sick sometimes and millions of people suffer from anxiety. You're not alone.
Let your employer/school know that you're very ill and checking in to the ER. Ask the doctor that sees you for a doctor's note explaining your need to be absent from work/school. By law, you cannot be penalized for truly being ill and missing work.
Take care of your body and mind for the next few days. I know it can be stressful missing work and getting behind in school, but your health is more important than all that. The other stuff will work itself out.
Be kind to your mind and body today. Take a few deep breaths. Recognize the anxiety and set it aside until you take care of your body. When you get back from the doctor, surround yourself with things that are soothing - watch a fun movie, read a book, take a hot bath.
Don't worry about the anxiety today. You're going to be fine. Take care of yourself and good luck.
Let the blame go. It changes nothing. Go on, do what you need to do to heal your self, and ask for reminder calls (some offices have a system that does these calls, so asking will get you some direction on this policy).
Best wishes.
