hi... I’ve had anxiety off and on since was 16 years old. Right now I just broke up with a gf of 6 years which was very unhealthy but still it was so hard for me to leave her. I never have anxiety in the day. It’s onky in the middle of the night. And the night makes me feel trapped. I feel better when I know it’s almost light out. It’s almost like I wake up fearing it to happen that I make it happen!!!! Any advice??!

What works for calming my anxiety varies greatly for each round of ^it^. The anxiety I get from being too busy is a whole different critter than the anxiety I get from being lonely or going through major life changes. This is one of the places I come to help me sort which tool I need for any given round.
Hope it proves helpful to you, as well. What have you tried so far?
According to an article, when anxiety symptoms come, it’s helpful if you will control your breathing. Talk to someone about how you feel, someone you are comfortable with and you can trust, it will also keep your mind off of your symptoms. You can also do some physical activities and do things that will relax you. I hope this helps.
I pray that you will overcome and anxiety will not control you. Keep us posted, we are here for you. Take care, God bless.
