Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Hi, I've been having health anxiety for awhile now. Talking to a therapist that I love, she is helping so much. I have childhood trauma issues and dealing with all that and I seem really good for awhile and then the intrusive thoughts about my heath start. I start thinking about my breathing and maybe not catching my breath and I know its all in my head, and then I start thinking my heart is beating too fast so I take my blood pressure and of course its up because I'm anxious. I haven't taken it again now for over a week because it will get higher just thinking about putting the blood pressure cuff on...I really started to get into walking everyday and it makes me feel good knowing it is great for my health and then got sciatica last year and now I can't take walks like I used to. I know if I could get out and walk it would make me feel so much better physically and mentally but now I can't, it's too painful...Sorry for the rambling...I take SAM-E now for awhile, afraid to get on stronger meds, I just want to feel normal...I watch alot of youtube videos about anxiety and they help..Sorry for the rambling....

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
You've taken the important first step in writing it out.
Take a short walk. Start small. Be kind to yourself!
Walking junkie that I am, I found my curiosity rattled at the thought that sciatica had brought an end to your daily walks. To my 20-minute-expertise, this article seemed worth sharing. Feel free to disregard.
