Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

My anxiety has been getting better. Thats such a plus for me.
I went for a year without my anxiety bothering me, to it all of a sudden blowing up. Now I am trying to cope with it without medication (its getting hard) I worry about the dumbest things. Like, I cooked fish sticks last night. Just an off brand box. I was scared I would die from them. Worked myself up so much my throat felt strained and I thought it was closing.
OR I went grocery shopping, and I left all my clean clothes at my dads on laundry day.. so I grabbed something of moms and it was an alabama shirt. Yall know the first thing I thought was "what if someone comes in the store and kills all alabama fans and i just go down because of the shirt?"
OR I REALLY enjoy watching the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix. I recently got back to going to church and now im scared God will take me out because I watch the show.
its all wild and goofy stuff. I dont know how people make it with anxiety worse than this. I honestly think, if i could just get back to a job.. that I would be ok. Working brings me so much joy, and without it.. my anxiety has just gotten worse. Its making me crazy.

Well, not everytime but most of the time. Yesterday, I was supposed to be doing online training for work but instead, I decided to work on my kitchen table. Most of the time, I don't know where to start and give...

I have a possible new diagnosis to discuss with my therapist tomorrow. It might be the answer to a question that I have had since I was 19. It's called Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD). It happens to a large percentage of people with ADHD, which I have. Actually, I have been watching videos about ADD/ADHD lately. I remember my Mom telling me that she watched a show on ADD and she...
Whatever the evers of all that, there's not a doubt in my twisted brain that anxiety thrives on empty schedules. More time and attention available to listen to anxiety's twisted trivia, I reckon. Just guessing. Getting back to time-clock structure could, indeed, be just the remedy for your case.
I'm crossing my fingers and toes with yours for that something to come up soon. Steadying support while you ride it out.
Thank you for sharing. Praying for you that you will have the job you need and things will get better for you.
Take care of yourself. If you think dealing with anxiety without medication gets too hard, try to contact your therapist. I hope you will get the support you need. Please keep us posted. God bless.
