Have such a bad problem with Anxiety that it has affected them physically?
I have severe, and I do mean severe, to the point where I can't go out much, Sweating issues (and it's not hyperhydrosis) and doctors can't seem to figure out what's wrong with me, been to quite a few specialists. My therapist said it's due to anixety, but I do take Gabapentin and Lamectal for Anxiety. I guess I still must have it, despite those 2 meds.
It's affecting me terribly. Does anyone have any ideas, reasons, similar problems? Sure could use some feedback. Thanks!!

You've taken the important first step in writing it out.
Take the time to keep a daily journal!
You are definitely not alone in the dealing with the physiology of anxiety.
I also experience hot flashes and sweating due to my anxiety. Also rapid heartbeat and shortness of breath. It is completely normal to have these things happen. I find that wearing a tank top under my shirt helps to create a barrier so sweat doesn’t show through as bad. Also wearing a long sleeve flannel or the likes over a short sleeve that’s easy to take off when you get where you’re going has helped me.
Good luck! I hope you can find peace with your situation!
When I'm under stress I get physical symptoms such as sweating, frightening dreams, bedwetting, loss of appetite.
I get told that I need to relax more, which is obviously true, but I haven't yet found out how I can actually do that.
So what I have to do is a lot of self-talk to remind myself there is nothing to be anxious about, I am strong secure person, I can handle things and not be fearful. Here are two techniques I use that really help me.
The 557 breathing technique is take 5 deep breaths in while thinking good thoughts about yourself like I matter, I am special, I am strong and then hold the breaths for the count of 7 focusing on those words about yourself, then let out the breath slowly for 5 seconds letting go of any anxious, self-defeating, unhealthy thought. I do this one to three times a sitting.
The gratitude journal is writing down something good every morning and night something that went well in the day, or something I appreciate about myself. Taking our focus off of the anxiety and focusing on positive uplifting things really helps. What you think is what you believe. So thinking uplifting things you believe those things but the reverse is true - thinking negative self-defeating things, you will believe those.
Reach out anytime and pm me if you'd like to chat. Anxiety adds no value to our lives so finding ways to let go of the anxious feelings and thoughts will help improve your life. I will be praying for you. Hugs and God Bless
Then we get to the countless ways that my lifelong dance with anxiety has affected me physically. Sweating wasn't high on that list, but it was/is there. That ol' survival instinct, of which anxiety is an all natural part, is a powerful force of nature.
