Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. Hello Everyone,
I think in terms of my anxiety..and stress and everything else, I think things are coming together with the end of the semester coming up. I feel a little more relaxed, but at the same time.. I kind of thought about how I felt after finishing my junior year last year. That same night.. I had a panic attack out of nowhere, and I believe it to have been brought on by me finishing the entire year. Like almost as if it needed to come out? But at the same time I'm not sure it made sense of me to have a panic attack after basically lifting the weight of a lot of responsibilites off my shoulder, but I'm not too sure. What this has made me afraid of.. is that the same thing is going to happen to me after I finish off my internship, or even once I graduate. I know I'm also probably not supposed to be thinking about the future and stuff even when it's so close to me, but idk I'm a little concerned about having a panic attack that day because while I do feel a little better now that I've completed majority of the work for the semester... I feel as though.. all the bottled up stress and everything else that I have been holding back since starting school this last year is going to come out in form of a panic attack.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Bottled up stresses, etc., are my number one danger during high stress periods like finals, etc. You are currently using my number one safeguard to manage that danger. Venting and sorting my stresses/anxieties as they bubble up keeps them from bottling up. They also smell much better and are less gooey while they are fresh. They still stink to high heaven, but the smell doesn't get better with age.
Keep venting and sorting, Blue. An ounce of prevention really is worth a pound of cure. At least.
