I've been struggling so much with health anxiety since June. I've been in the urgent care 5 times with a myriad of symptoms and am always told it's anxiety. The thing is, I live alone and I'm so afraid that an emergency will happen and I won't react because I tell myself it's just anxiety. I'm working with my doctor and am waiting on appointments with a psychiatrist and therapist and have been able to find some success with meditation, but I feel like this anxiety is controlling my entire life. I can't get through an entire day without having a severe panic attack. Im afraid to go outside, I'm in physical pain, I'm struggling to eat because Im afraid im allergic to everything, today Im convinced the chafing on the back of my heel is gangrene and that's just the tip of the iceberg. I've had anxiety for as long as I can remember but i feel so out of control. It's exhausting and I had to go down to working three days a week and I don't really have anyone in my life that I feel like I can talk to about it, especially not my family. I just don't know what to do anymore, I feel like a shell of my former self or like I'm trapped in my body and claustrophobic.
