Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I have lost about 89 pounds and my hair has become thin. I have been taking Biotin for 3 months. I thought there were some new sprouts and my brother, who is my stylist, confirmed that new hair is growing in. Thank God! I bought more Biotin today. In other good news, I paid my doctor's office $120 two days ago. They called me yesterday morning to say that I didn't owe anything and they will refund the $120 to my credit card. Also, my lawn guy came a day early, so I wasn't home. I called him right back and he said that he was going to skip my yard. That's $70 I didn't have to fork out. In other possible good news, the company that I'm using to exit my timeshare answered my call yesterday and the secretary was real nice and informative. She told me that they responded to the collection company about my $950 maintenance fee from 2023 and I have not gotten anything further from the collection company. She said that is a good sign but to check my credit. So I still have to do that. Do you have any good news to share?

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
it when you get blood tests.
The dermatologist recommended a product called Nutrafol but I was already taking several of the supplements included in it. I am now taking a product called BioSil that really works. My hair grew back and then I got a bad infection again and boom! The hair shedding starts back up. Every time I get sick now, the hair shedding starts back up and I see my hair wafting down or I see it on the floor which means I have to sweep more. Not clumps but one at a time.
I do use a shampoo that adds body or fullness. I don't blow dry my hair fully dry or it gets limp and totally straight. Some like that look, to me I feel more distress at my hair shedding. I have those little tufts of hair growing back in. Kind of a weird stage.
But I do have more thinning and can see my scalp in places, all relating to the covid shots.
For women, to use the OTC products that grow back hair that are medicines, you should use the half dose products and then you have to put it on your scalp twice a day. I tried this but I hated putting that stuff on my scalp. Made my hair greasy looking.
