Well I made it through it’s 4 PM here Los Angeles so far I finished my task with my daughter at the DMV she passed and got her written permit that was an anxiety that’s been eating me up for three days also this morning before the DMV what if what if and so on and so on Thoughts i’ve been writing out everything like you all have teach me right now I feel kind of like numb I guess like I want to be worried and I’m not like it’s lurking in the back of my brain weird stuff So it actually got me angry that I solve the problem without worrying but I didn’t call upon it it just came over me any tips on this if anybody has experienced it Hope I’m making sense

I remember that numb feel from when I first started learning how to quiet my anxiety attacks. All that internal quiet gave me a panic attack. I worried I'd had a stroke or something.
I coped with gentle, compassionate humor. As Ethyl Barrymore said, "We take steps toward maturity every time we have a good belly laugh -- at ourselves." Be patient with the process. You might be surprised at what lives beneath that numbness.
