Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. Well I have posted in here a few times about meds and side effects and starting my new journey on getting help.
My last post was a few days ago about all the bad side effects I was having, later that night I woke up with my head shaking off my shoulders, my entire body shaking, vomiting, etc. I found out Zoloft is a big no no for me. So I am now off of it. Thankfully I had only been on it for a short time so within about 24 hrs I was already feeling better.
I am still on wellburtin and propranolol and yesterday was the first time I can ever remember not feeling anxiety! Not a single moment did I feel that gut dropping, heart pounding, world is ending, scared sh*tless anxiety! I can't even believe it. Today has been a good day also. I haven't felt any anxiety even with receiving bad news...I feel emotions other than fear and I didn't know that was possible.
I am still working with a therapist every week also and was pushed to stepp out of my comfort zone and I actually did it. I invited a friend to do something. I don't do that...ever. I never invite people to things and usually when invited I lie to get out of doing it.
I feel success for the first time on my anxiety help journey.
I am suppose to start making progress on some self care...something else I don't really do. I've try googling self care and all that stuff and I don't really know where to start. Does any one have any favorite self care routines or tips?

Self care-do something special for you!
Personally, I don't like to complicate my self-care with regimens and opines. I like simplicity and my general gee on self-care is to validate my own needs and do whatever it takes to help myself feel better. I started with **just** allowing myself the right **to** feel better. I sincerely believed I deserved every bit of pain and neglect I had suffered in my broken birthright. Once I jumped that hurdle, knowing what helps me feel better was/is pretty instinctive.
Gentle support while you find what works for you.
