What is the goal in poker- her teacher explains, to make good decision, a lesson for life too. So you don't concentrate on whether you win or lose, similar to what some sports book teach- "The Score Takes Care of Itself." Her teacher doesn't ask did you win or lose, but asks for an evaluation of the thinking process that led her to some decisions.
I think focusing on the process is helpful in relieving anxiety. Don't ask what will or could happen, but what should I do.
Anxiety is natural. Most of the time, people use it without thought or thinking about thought.

No there is no cure for anxiety. It is manageable. It's part of life that everyone experiences. But we all experience it in different ways and it effects us in different ways too. You probably will have to live with it the rest of your life. Keep journaling so you can get through your thoughts and feelings. Good luck. Italianmomma4ever
