Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Taking vitamins with a little food helps me not to get stomach upset. Don't know if I have had the weird smell thing. And, drink a big glass of water with the vitamins.
Ok thank you everyone
It's probably safe to take a simple multivitamin. But definitely ask your doctor which supplements, if ANY, you should be taking. They can run a simple blood test (it's called a CBC) that will check your levels.
Then, they can advise you what to take.
So yeah, you could just wait. Or, take just the multivitamin. I have over 40 years of experience taking vitamins every day, so I know a lot about them, lol. You just don't want to take too many of something your body doesn't need.
And it's always best to get your vitamins from your food. Do you eat a healthy diet? With lots of vegetables, some fruit, potassium, some calcium such as yogurt (also good for your stomach), some meat iron, etc? Low salt and low sugar.
Yes I do now but when the pandemic lockdown happened in April I didn’t have healthy habits. I drank alcohol almost everyday and ate a lot of fast food/junk food. That all caught up with me though which is why I’m not drinking anymore and paying extra close attention what goes in my body. The anxiety I’ve experienced over my health this past week has landed me in the ER 4 times because I was convinced I was dying, wouldn’t wish this on anyone.
Have you had a good experience with multivitamins?
But I supplement with other vitamins as well. I get that CBC blood test, and other supplement tests, to make sure my levels are all normal. For example, last year I was so tired, I could barely do anything, and they tested me and found out I was severely anemic. Which I never would have guessed, since I eat a serving of meat every day. So I added an iron supplement and now I am fine with energy again.
I am also low on Vitamin D (also did not know that, or "feel" that), so I take extra Vitamin D now.
That's why it's good to ask your doctor to run some supplement tests. Because you don't always know if you are low on something, such as potassium, or too high on something, such as too much vitamin B-12.
Also, Omega-3 is found in fish. So if you eat any fish, you should be fine. I think you are too young to need Omega-3 supplements, but ask your doctor. It's usually for lowering blood pressure and someone with heart issues later in life. Again, ask your doctor. Omega-3 is a fish oil, which is probably what you are tasting, as stated in the above post as well.
Glad to hear you are eating better now. And please drink 8 glasses of water every day!
You will be fine, don't worry about anything :-)
