I know you meditate, there is an app called insight timer that I highly recommend. I use the free version. If you would like to try Tai Chi our Institute has a free series right now which is great called “Improve Immunity and Reduce Stress” by Dr. Paul Lam. Shame. Guilt. Anxiety. Energized. Mania. Chase. Each of those words ... bring about memories to me.
For each of those words, I have a better balance image to help me sort through the thoughts, pattern of words that wander through my mind when I sense, feel, hear, see, taste, both in the moment and in memory.
A friend helped me to find the best music for calm and relaxation motion so I could process the memory in a safe way for healing.
Writing it out seems to open up a different way to view it, and gives me a chance to use the even breathing and the gentle motion to do the hand movements to walk through the moment of the event behind the feeling.
