Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. Skipping over my past, etc., I wake up and have to take 10mg of valium first thing every day. My marriage isn't good right now, (thank God we don't have kids!!) But, I find it hard to get motivated, I just want the Lord to bring me home, and I know how you feel!!If it weren't for my meds, and my counselor, I would be in deep doo doo!!
its like every second is a struggle...i used to love waking up and looking forward to the day :(
take a good, honest look at your life. add positives to it until it really feels well-rounded and wholesome again.
but.. I have found that when I feel like this, I try to make myself get up, really make myself, and then later I reward myself with some thing.. I am trying this new thing- face the fear...... taking my life back, one panic attack, or night, at a time. I am also taking Vitamin B complex- which I think is helping a little, I was stuck in a rut about 3 weeks ago, I have noticed that my anxiety flares tremendoulsy when its getting close to that time of the month(probably hormone related), but anyway,I was stuck in a rut about 3 weeks ago, and was desperate, I even tried the Apple Cidar Vinegar thing, yuck, and no it didnt help, it gave me anxiety worse, and for days I had that metal battery taste in my mouth.. anyway, the vitamin B complex pulled me out of the rut. Im waiting now to see if its really going to change anything. I also looked up online ways to tell if you have a vitamin defiency, and with all my symptoms, including anxiety, on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the worst, it gave me a 10 for Vitamin B complex.. imagine that. Im thinking of taking L-Theanine on top of that, but Im scared to try stuff while I take xanax... Hope you feel better soon.
I will pray for you. I don't know if you have ever heard of Joyce Meyers she has a book called Battlefield of the Mind It can help you out alot along with reading daily sciptures dealing with fear and anxiety and worry that is what has seen me through each day. I did not want to go on meds so I began praying and reading the bible to help me with my anxiety/panic attacks god is great source of strenght to me and i would encourage you to read the book of psalms when you feeling like you don't want to get up. God Bless You:)

my mother used to start her days with a cup of coffee at the kitchen table. she would write out a list of things to do, prioritize them, then do them one at a time.
hope this helps.
