Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I havent seen my mom's boyfriend at all and uve only seen her once since she got back. Already sad because now I know I am barely gonna see her at all anymore. Yesterday my cousins randomly showed up and none of us knew they were coming but I am trying to just be happy that I get to visit
The thing I really want to talk about though is the weather changing and how it's affecting me. Whenever the seasons change I always get very anxious but fall is probably my least favorite season right next to summer. When my anxiety started getting really bad for the first time in my life, it was around early fall. Every time I go outside and feel the air and breathe it in everything just feels so uncertain, confusing, and scary. I dont know how to even explain the feeling. It just feels like bad things are gonna happen. Just woke up a few minutes ago and now that smell/feeling of the air is in my room.
Everything that is happening just came at a really sucky time just making me hate fall even more. I hate fall scented candles they make me feel like shit (and my grandma has been using was melts that have the exact smell I hate and my brain wants to explode) everything beautiful just dies and everything is empty and barren it's just horrible. Dying plants is not beautiful it makes me sad. I love everything being green and lush and smelling light floraI notes as i walk through the yard. guess I am just gonna have to start hibernating a little early and sleep til spring.

Even the birds, bees and all the little animals get anxious with season change. Change stimulates the anxiety centers of the survival instincts which we share with most of the bioweb. Then we get to the vast majority of 21st century humanity who are heavily conditioned to the academic school year beginning at the end of Summer/early Fall. Even when we are socially distant from the academic world, we still feel all those years of seasonal conditioning. Love it or hate it, we all feel it.
Hope you can calm that hatred, Frog. Hate is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die. It eats holes in your soul.
Equally, it seems to me that grand euphoria can crash and burn out of control entirely to easily. E.G. Ho Ho Season. . . Euphoria can be exhausting.
Autumn is definitely a time of change for nature. It is preparing for winter's sleep. As the beauty changes color, look for the good in each of those colors.
I had to switch from saying fall to autumn to help find different ways to describe the feelings in a more balanced way.
Best wishes as you continue to focus on your better balance.
as for your mom's boyfriend--maybe just keep baking and anytime you do see him throw a brownie or a piece of cake in his mouth---positive conditioning--every time he sees you he will associate you with delicious baked goods...lol...can't be mean to the keeper of cakes and cookies!
