I went through a period of a few months where I experienced very little to no anxiety and it was great, but I've had the same feelings and thoughts that brought anxiety back on in the last month and I don't have a sure fire way to dicipate and calm myself down. It feels like every waking moment that I'm alive I'm aware of some sort of anxiety, breathlessness, tension or otherwise discomfort and it starts to weigh on me feeling like I can't live like this. I'm going to acupuncture next week and I'm already on medication but I don't think it's doing much. I try to exert myself physically which helps a bit, but the source is clearly inside my head

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Exercise too is a really good way to manage. So good on you for being on track with that! Peace.
I also gain allot of psycho mileage from shifting my focus from whatever I am obsessing over today to those physical symptoms. Yes, the cause of that shortness of breath is all in my head, but regulating my physical breath can help calm the phantoms in my mind.
The more you write it out, the easier it is to sort out the pattern and distract it using positive words and images to improve your balance naturally.
Stop, pause, breathe, calm, and repeat until you feel the calm happening naturally is the best way to find the better balance naturally.
Your anxiety is your 'helper'. Make it work for you!
