Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Hello everyone!
So I have really been going through it this past month. Alot of health anxiety. Every ache or pain I have I assume its the worst till I'm having full blown panic attacks. I am mostly afraid of my heart health but after being told numerous times that my heart is healthy I now assume its my lungs, cancer, etc....
I'm noticing even when I'm having okay days I cant eat. Like tonight I have barely eaten in two days and I know I need too but I just dont feel hungry and sometimes when I do eat it triggers anxiety because I worry if what I am eating is healthy.
Does anyone else have this issue and any advice?

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

Baby food is my compromise. It's solid nutrition in an easy to use and digest format. Plain crackers help when my stomach acids are running high.
Little things make big diffs in finding what works for each of us. Not even twins are really identical. Keep it personal. Continued support while you find what works for you, Giddy.
I too suffer from decreased appetite due to anxiety. My go-to when I know I must get the calories, but can't stomach the solids is a liquid diet- namely smoothies or protein shakes.
Also agree with arfie on the sofa crackers for all around easy to digest stuff.
I find that food is easier on my anxious GI tract when it is vegetarian and low fat. Can't get much healthier than that for a food choice.
What provides a pleasing taste on your tongue?
What feels good to smell, touch, feel?
The reason to look at it from a different perspective may help you find the other things that are involved with your perspective and eating.
Best wishes. Welcome to the anxiety board at DS.
