Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Music, dancing.
Comfort food and drink on a pretty plate and pretty cup.
Rest and relax with a soft, comfortable blanket wrapped.
Walking outside to see the moon and stars.
Writing it out and then leaving it.
And then I'll probably doze off on that couch for a little bit. Naps really help "fix" or reset my mood, and they energize me, too.
Also, writing in a journal.
Playing games on the computer will get my mind off my anxiety, because I have to concentrate on the game.
I love the beach!!!! And I have a beautiful beach picture in my T,V. room that it's so relaxing when I look at it. I often dream about being there.
I love to listen to music too. It gets me going. I turn it on when I'm cooking or cleaning. And I kinda dance to the rhythm of the music. Lol.
Comfort food is so enjoyable. I love to cook and eat. And I also set up the table with pretty dishes. It just makes the meal complete.
Wrapping yourself in a blanket and watching a good movie is nice.
Walking outside to see the moon and stars is so beautiful to see. Last night there was a full moon. It was gorgeous!!!
I to like to right things out and then leave it be.
Thanks for all the suggestions. Great ideas. Italianmomma4ever
It's great to talk with you. I too love to channel surf and find something I enjoy watching. I like the home channels and the cooking channels.
Naps are a must for me. Since I have so much broken sleep every night. Something about taking a nap it rejuvenates me and I feel more focused and relaxed.
I journal everyday. Got to write everything down. That's so important.
Playing games on the computer are fun. I play dominos and solitaire.
Thanks for your great ideas. Italianmomma4ever

Then you will start to improve eliminating one source of anxiety things that went wrong because of your own fault. You've also start divorcing the process of self-improvement from worry.
Journaling is a must. And deep breathing is something that comes to me naturally. It helps. Having good friends to talk to is great. I too have a good support system that I can confide in. And yes I'm loving to decorate mine too. Lol. Thanks for your comment. Italianmomma4ever
Never smoked it. But heard about it. It is suppose to help calm you down. Journaling is very good to do. I also do that. Yes when your going through anxiety just remember it too shall pass. It's manageable. It just sucks having it and dealing with it. Thanks for your comment. Italianmomma4ever
I think worrying does absolutely nothing for you but make things worse. It's a waste of time that you can't ever get back. I like to journal. So every thing that I do wrong I try to have a solution to make it right next time. I like your theory. Things that went wrong because of your own fault. You can really only blame yourself when that happens. You learn by your mistakes. And the less you will worry. Makes total sense to me. Great comment!!! Thank you. Italianmomma4ever
I think worrying can make you sick. I know if I'm stressed and worried I get headaches or stomach aches. So I try not to worry, because I don't want to feel like that. Here's to happy thoughts!!! Italianmomma4ever
