Last school year, two of my favorite students were besties.  I called them the Bobbsey Twins.  They were always together and they were such nice girls.  On Tuesday, I saw one of the girls by herself so I asked where the other girl was.  She said she didn't know, that the other girl stopped talking to her in June and that she didn't know why.  I was heartbroken for her.  Yesteerday, I saw the other girl.  She was super happy to see me, hugged me and told me about her classes.  No mention of the break-up.  My heart wants me to bring them back together but I don't think it's my place.  But I have been there.  My best friend from high school stopped talking to me when my OCD hit me.  We eventually became friendly again, she says there is a special place in her heart for me, but we only talk on Messenger.  As to my current best friend, I broke our friendship up twice because she was very self-destructive, would not listen to reason, had jumped out of a car, walked home from bars, just out of control.  She married someone who was a loser when we weren't talking.  They had a son.  The son is just like his father.  I have never said I told you so to her.  We reunited on Facebook in 2010.  There have been several times when i have wanted to stop talking to her again because she was extremely nasty to me.  Another friend stopped talking to me about 16 years ago.  Her son, who has Down Syndrome, had MRSA on his butt.  So I told her that they couldn't come to my niece's party and she ended our friendship.  Her son, in his wisdom, called me and got us back together.  Another friend didn't approve of my boyfriend in 1985 and stopped talking to me.  She continued being friends with my brother.  Now we all go out to eat together and it is nice to be reacquainted with her.  I hope the Bobbsey Twins get back together.  I hope I can somehow help.
