Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
As I hate car shopping I go to start the process online and they have me come in I had told them what I wanted.
i was happy with my jeep grandcherokee I had for the last 11 years I got it 3 weeks before my daughter was born and I put 200k on it. Cars are so expensive I feel is though I might as well go for the Lexus because I'm need an suv for my kids and for family activities and I got a dog.
the jeep is running now but can't go far because the transmission is going. When i bought the jeep I seemed like a fraction of the cost and at the dealer they try to throw things at you I don't like sales people because I get the impression of them as con artists.
i asked my husband how he would feel if i got the Lexus he told me it's up to me because i am right cars have gone way to expensive but we need to take in to consideration that luxury cars are expensive to maintain and it's not that he can work on it him self. But even know we have the money it may better to finance for a few years like we did with his truck because we make more with the money sitting in investments plus we no longer have a mortgage but also to consider with all the features more stuff to go wrong.
he told me we don't have to rush now because my work is only 2 miles away and a lot of places are local short distances and for when we go away for Labor Day weekend we take the truck.the reason why I thought of a Lexus because I looked at a Tahoe they seem just as expensive then a friend of mine told me her and her husband have had issues with Chevy then the Honda pilots are not that much less.
but sales people cause my anxiety to spike.

Early this morning, I went to Walmart and ShopRite. My best friend uploaded some digital coupons for ShopRite for me and saved me almost $10. Yesterday, I contacted my car insurance company to see what they can do about my crazy bill. I was able to increase the deductible for physical injury and saved $347 but the guy also recommended that I take a defensive drivers course to save more...

Pain is a 9/10, going to see in-laws last night was misery. Dahlia found a baby skink. Count: Skinks: going extinct. Dahlia: Gaining weight.***YAY AUGUST IS ALMOST OVER!Today in 1833, the British Parliament passed The Factory Act. In 1820 or so, roughly 50% of workers in the UK were under 20, some as young as 4 or 5, and yes, working 14-hour shifts. By 1850, the number dropped to about 25% of...

sigh. . .
for what it's worth
i bought a new chevy trailblazer last year. so far, so good, knock wood.
I have driven a Subaru since 2011, two different models and nothing mechanical has ever gone wrong. One car was driven for 8 years, this current one is going on 6 years and I love it so much I won't be selling any time soon. Both were Outbacks. But not every car made by a company with generally high ratings is as good as the rest of them. Even good companies make models or years that have more reliability problems. So I look at Consumer Reports.
I am a woman and like to go into the dealership and drive the car first. I have my budget set up and my needs. I have to have a good supportive drivers seat for example, as I have a bad back.
A good dealership is not going to hard sell you. The fancy Subarus dealership we got both cars from does not do hard selling. You can easily walk away. They treat you like a human being of great value not some chippy to scam. I also used a Toyota dealership like this in another city I lived in.
Go in with NO on your mind and a written list of what you need. If fixing the transmission is a reasonable price that might be the way to go with your old Jeep if otherwise it runs well, in good condition, etc.
Blue sky I agree with you that’s why I don’t like dealerships and I was in a car wreck my self when a driver hit me head on and I was 8 months pregnant with my daughter which left me with a lot of anxiety because all I cared about was if my baby was ok.
As much as I loved my jeep geandcherokee for the new ones I looked at. That’s why I decided at that point I might as well just go for a Lexus.
Wishing best with it but know the stress sigh
My jeep was on like $30k back when I got it it’s like now doubled or even more that’s when I’m feeling I might as well go with the Lexus suv or the Honda pilot I just hate how expensive they gotten it’s so sickening
