Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
When it comes to sales people it causes my anxiety to spike through the roof and about a week ago my 2015 jeep grandcherokee had 200k on it.
i had that car from when it was brand new 3 weeks before my daughter was born. I'm driving it and something didn't seem right I asked my husband to drive it he said he thinks the transmission was going and our mechanic told us he was right and time for a new car.
i go to one dealer looking I walk out because I told them I was not in a hurry long story short i went online got a price from a few dealers test drove a Honda pilot and a Lexus suv. 2 dealers emailed me over night with a price so I printed them out then the Honda dealership offered to give me $2000.00 for the jeep but then the Lexus offered $500. Then I told them I'd decide by Tuesday then the other Lexus dealer asked me to come down like begged because it would be better in person the anxiety built up so bad my husband said let's just take the ride. I brought my print outs and for a better model Lexus suv they gave me it for the same price at the other Lexus dealership and $2000.00 for the jeep and they didn't push extras on me and they told me that it would be ready by tomorrow afternoon.
my husband told me I did a good job standing my ground and the reason why they were desperate was because it's the last 2 days of the month and they want all the cars out to meet there monthly quota and not only that next week is Labor Day weekend and that's when there really going to wanna get all the 2026 models off the lot to make room for the 2027 models.
Yes I splurged but I've always budgeted with travel and shopping and saved and invested very well I basically gave up smoking for the most part a few years back which was over $400 a month and since I just turned 44 and I decided I just wanted to have a really nice luxury car and more likely be a 1 lifetime thing I do and wanna make it last over 10 years. The only thing I have anxiety is people looking at me like a snob when I'm not known as one.

This one kitty, a female who I named Starr, comes into my utility room from my crawlspace and has discovered my beach towel. Yesterday, I opened the door and she must have been sleeping on the beach towel because it took her a few seconds to jump down and escape. When I go outside with food, she comes the closest to me. I really don't want to keep any of the kitties. I don't want them to...

well. . . i almost didn't respond because i don't talk to snobs,
end of attempted humor
why justify? ya likes what you likes, ya wants what ya wants. if somebody's gonna judge you because of what you drive, do YOU really want to talk to THEM?
well done, my liege. may tomorrow's commute feel like a brand new adventure.
further, i know a good many poor folk who allow themselves the luxury of super nice wheels. a bit of self-pampering can go a long way in making life worthwhile.
me? ? ? i hate being owned by a car. to me, they feel like necessary evils in a carbaric world.
