Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
My boyfriend left me at his house yesterday when he went to run errands and forgot his wallet. Being the extremely curious person that i am i wanted to see what his license looked like. Then i started looking through even More stuff and found a picture of his old girlfriend from 3 years ago. It was with some old papers that im sure he just didn't know was in there. Now i don't know what to do. Part of me wants to tell him and just suffer the consequences because i shouldn't have been nosey. The other part of me wants to just take the picture out and throw it away but having severe anxiety i can't have that on my conscience. I was thinking abt just buying him a new wallet as his is torn up then when he's cleaning it out he'll find it and throw it away. Its giving me soo much anxiety rn to where I barely slept last night. I'm trying not to act different around him because i know he didn't mean any harm he just didn't know it was in there

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Snooping in a wallet and discovering a photo that 'bothers' you.
Not your wallet, not your decision. Not your problem, not your choice, however, it is an unintended consequence of a choice you made to look in another person's private property.
And, just as you have to choose how you will react, respond, and be responsible for your actions, you remind yourself that honorable intentions often have unintended consequences.
You can let it go (unlikely as this is bothering you so much) quietly which is the safest way to move forward in a positive direction. You can mention you looked through his wallet and it looks like he might like a new wallet.
Here's to making a positive decision that improves your well-being and brings a better balance.
A new wallet sounds like a great idea. My hubby would probably still have pictures of his gf's from the 70's if I hadn't supplied the motivation for him to clean out his wallet by getting him a new wallet. He already knows how lazy he is about cleaning out his wallet. I forgive him. It ain't even the worst habit on my wifey gripe list. . .
How long have you two been together? Has he done or said anything that would lead you to believe he is not 100% committed to you?
I would ask him about his previous relationship(s). See what he says about this particular ex. I have found I learn a lot about a potential mate by how they talk about their exes.
By the way he talks about her, if it's obvious he has no feelings for the girl in the picture, then forget about it.
No, don't throw out any of his pictures! If my guy still had pictures of his ex, I wouldn't care. This is part of his life, his past, his memories. I know he doesn't have those kind of feelings for her anymore.
I think you need to ask him about her. There was a reason why you snooped.
To me, being curious about what his picture on his drivers license looks like seems like your way of permitting yourself to go in his wallet. I think it’s more than that.
I’m for honesty but in this case I’d really try to get past it and move on.
