She is going through a paranoid episode. Was afraid to open a card from her daughter's friend. Wanted me to put it in my bag while we ate. I'm tired of the madness. She was so demanding yesterday. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Not to mention I think they have her in the looney ward. One girl screams out a lot. I am real sensitive to sound. I want to punch her lights out. Some other guy kept yelling the other day. I cannot handle this. She called me this morning and said a woman was being raped last night. The other day, she said a guy was being raped. She's very adamant when she makes these accusations. She still says that the nurses at another rehab broke some lady's legs. Gimme a break! Today she said she wants to write me a check for gas money so I can visit her more often. No fucking thank you. Excuse the French.

This is what happens as their mind slowly breaks down from rational thought to the scenes that play in their head .
1. Try to get a decent home space for yourself. if this means leaving, they to do it as soon as possible.
2. Try not to get too mad. It is difficult to deal with hallucinations but the people believe them. Arguing usually gets you nowhere somewhat like arguing politics with someone who strongly believes something.
3. Some form of medication is probably warranted.
