Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. Do you have an EAP at work? They can be great at helping people get back to work after taking time out. I would really work on self care as you've been doing
Good Luck to you.
Several years ago I had to take a leave of absence from work for depression. I was hanging on by a thread and was encouraged not to work. I didn't tell them what I was out for just that I was feeling much better when I returned.
I wish you the best in your recovery from Anxiety. I too suffer from Anxiety, G.A.D. actually, especially the last few years.

Anxiety is natural. It is a part of you. Embrace it, and know you are managing it. When it feels overwhelming, practice the appearance of calm (practice in front of mirror until you can feel the calm and note how you reach it-relaxing shoulders, lifting head, breathing evenly) and this will help you see you're still functioning in normal balance.
You are at work, working with others. The work is your focus. Keep the personal to a minimum as you focus on work.
Best wishes.
