Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
After 20 months, they've reopened our office. I'm only going back twice a week and not even for full days, but it's weird and stressful going back. I went in Tuesday. Not many people there, but I did sit in a room with some coworkers for meetings which was both totally normal and very weird. I'm going in again today, again for meetings, and, again, I'm both looking forward to it a bit and stressed about it more. It took me a while to get used to working from home full time, but I did, and now I have a routine and everything and going back to the office is a major disruption to that routine.
I'm trying to make the best of it. I mean, if nothing else it's got me wearing something besides gym shorts or sweatpants, so that's something...

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
Girl howdy, I've been having allot of flashbacks to that campaign as I have watched the powers-that-be throw every one of their own arguments out the window over the past 20 months. Seems to me they are still tossing. . . I'm hearing about massive employee turnovers during the transitions back to the office.
Round and round and round we go. . . Steadying support while you make your own go-round.
I've been singing Harry Chapin allot lately. "Feels like I've been here before, though I can't remember when."
Getting used to working from home was new to many people. My husband worked from home for over a year and at first he was anxious each morning. He gradually got really used to his routine. His office reopened in June and was given the option to decide upon continuing to work from home to being back in his office. He chose to work in his office only 3 days per week and from home the other two days.
Talk with your co-workers and see how they are feeling about being back in the office. I am willing to bet they are also experiencing the strangeness of it.
Take care.
