General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

If you have medications for anxiety and depression, I would suggest taking them as prescribed. It will only help you feel better. Not sure what you mean that you "can't be bothered" with taking your meds. Would you rather feel like you do now... which doesn't sound that you feel so good? We have to help ourselves get better. Which may include medication if a doctor has prescribed that for us. Sorry that there is no magic cure for taking this pain away. You will get better, you just have to be willing to do your part as well. Hugs to you!

It’s just part of my issues .my head says stay misserable and die instead of taking my medicines .i know I need to take them but half the time I just don’t .i see my psychiatrist on Monday and maybe I can set a goal to take it more often then :(

That's great! Just be honest with your psychiatrist about how you've been feeling. Maybe he/she needs to adjust your meds to something that helps you feel better. I do know that if you take your meds not regularly, it can mess with your moods. So I would suggest taking them as prescribed. It can mess with your brain, thoughts, moods. I have a ton of anxiety, every day. It is a daily struggle, I know. It's a slow journey, but be proud of yourself for every accomplishment that you complete each day, even small ones. Have to build from somewhere, right? You can and will get better! It just doesn't happen over night, unfortunately. I have been struggling with my anxiety for 20 years. Each day is different. Some bad days, some not-as-bad days. You can do this! You are stronger than you think :)

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...
