Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. I was having both physical health problems and mental health problems the entire month of june. Both of these I had never experienced before. I was able to find a temporary/possibly permanent solution for my physical health problems. I assumed my anxiety would just go away soon after because getting anxiety about my health is not uncommon for me.
However, that was not the case. It's now August 13th, and my anxiety is not getting any better, if anything it's getting worse. It wakes me up around 7am everyday but before all this was going on I used to sleep in till 11am. It is horrible in the morning and then continues to linger throughout the day, just for it to get worse at night making it extremely hard to fall asleep.
I am constantly restless, worried, overwhelmed, and it feels like these feelings never go away. It's hard for me to get out of bed most days.
I am supposed to move up to college (I'm a sophomore) in the next two weeks, but I don't know how I am going to do it. Sitting through class seems like it will be impossible if I have an extremely anxious day. Plus my anxiety gets so much worse when I am away from my parents. Although I do want to go to school because I worry if I don't I will lose all the friends I have made there.
