I have more possible sources for those mystery attacks than I have energy to type them out. Often times, I never do figure out the source. When I do, knowing why doesn't help as much as breathing exercises. Mostly, I let the mystery be and work on calming the physical symptoms. The source often becomes clear after I calm myself and I regain my senses.

Even when you feel the most together and have armed yourself with good strategies, anxiety can come creeping back in. In my case, unexpected massive panic attacks.
Remind yourself that it is a marathon, rather than a sprint, and continue to work towards mitigating and improving your responses to it. What I find, is the frustration and inevitably the reoccurring anxiety comes when you've not exhibited the patience. Or like Arfie reminded me: that you fall into an "I'm cured" mindset without the daily ongoing work.
