Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Has anyone ever experienced high sustained levels of anxiety throughout the entire night. Mine came out of the blue and was not even touched by my emergency xanax. I'm not anxious about anything in particular, blood pressure is good. I just have that in the verge of panic feeling, no sleep. Awful...I've suffered off and on for many years so I am aware of getting caught in an anxious state but it's been like 10 hours of relentless sustaining anxiety at like a level 8/10. I too don't sleep good at night. Since I started having anxiety about 6 years ago every night I have broken sleep. I wake up and sometimes I can fall right back to sleep or sometimes it will take me a couple of hours too. The night time can be tough for sleeping for me. Italianmomma4ever
When I have them now, I do all the things that I know work, and if they do not work, I sit and rest.
Writing in a daily journal and also doing some positive image for those 'niggles' of anxiety I get just before bed time help to soothe the ragged edges of anxiety moments during the day.
Best wishes as you find your better balance.
