Anxiety Support Group

Disorder, and OCD all my life.
You've taken the important first step in writing it out.
Keep writing as you sort through the ways that the tics are noticeable.
I discovered that my tics went dormant once I did the breathing to find the calm in the moment. How I got it to where I got calm before getting overwhelmed took some detective work (which is why writing in a private journal daily can give you clues), and it's different for everyone.

Yes, exactly like you learned for your PTSD triggers. PTSD is listed as an anxiety disorder and I, as a long-time PTSD sufferer, totally agree with that classification. I often find more benefit in hanging out in the general anxiety groups because the less specialized focus nets me a broader range of support and suggestions. Specialists do get repetitive. I have yet to find a tool that works for my PTSD anxiety that doesn't work for my general anxiety.
Plying those calming exercises will give you something to do AND think about when the twitches set in. For me, those same exercises also make magnificent sleep aides.
Good luck.
