Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Fatigue, sensitive to cold, dry skin, and weight gain. Kinda of the opposite of hyper. Do you take medicine?

It's very nice to meet you. So your anger comes before the headache. Sometimes mine does too or sometimes my headache comes afterwards. Anxiety can make you feel very irritated, moody, grumpy and just not feel like yourself. So you say sounds trigger you. Like the T.V. or your neighbor. Is it because there talking loud and the T.V. is loud? It's very annoying to me when both are to loud. It bugs the heck out of me too. Sneeze or cough doesn't bother me. As long as they don't keep coughing constantly. I definitely agree with you for sure about people not understanding. You can explain it to them and they just don't get it. I wish people were more supportive and understood what it's like to have anxiety. You understand because you have to live with it. And I get it too. People that have anxiety understand. It's not just you its the other person that needs to be more sympathetic and understanding and maybe even educated on what you go through and how your feeling. Thank you so much for your comment. I get it. Because I too have anxiety. Take good care. Italianmomma
It's very nice to meet you. Anxiety sure can turn into anger. I know I get mad, and irritated and just can fly off the handle. I don't know too much about depression, because I was diagnosed with Anxiety. My anxiety has a lot to do with certain things that trigger fear. Like flying and driving on freeways. There is so much traffic on the freeways and their all going so fast, or their riding your bumper. So I try to take the back roads to were I need to go. And I enjoy the scenery and listen to my music. Then I don't have to worry about getting angry. I'm more relaxed and can take my time. When I do get angry. I try to relax by meditating, journaling, going for a walk, yoga or something that keeps me focused on relaxing. Breathing exercises help a great deal too. Thank you for your comment. I hope you find something that can keep your anger and anxiety and depression in check. I hope you find your balance. Take good care. Italianmomma
Do you love Pugs? I have a Belguim Malinois. She's full of energy and very loving. I love animals. Animals give you unconditional love. And are always happy to see you and just want to be with you. I hope that's what your user name means. Take care. Italianmomma
I'm sorry to hear that you get anger with your anxiety. Sometimes it's hard for to me control my anger too. I get really cranky, irritated, and frustrated. I think having the anxiety frustrates me a lot. I can't stand it. I know it's not cureable but manageable. And there are different things that help. But sometimes the anger just over takes me. And I snap. So the same things irritate you like Scout21 stated. Some of those bug the heck out of me too. I find them to be very annoying. So when that happens I get mad. I understand your angry. Certain things trigger that. And I think that makes you get angry so that's how your anxiety starts. I get it. Trust me my friend. I totally get it!!! Try to not let things bother you. Try to distract your mind. Do some breathing exercises or meditate. Something that you can focus on instead of the anger. It helps me. Thank you so much for your comment. It's always good to hear from you. Italianmomma
Your not being irrational. It's just that your having negative thoughts. Something must go in your body or with your thought process. As a result it turns into stress and anxiety. It's likely that these experiences create negative thinking, which causes irrational thinking. Stay positive and see if that helps. I know it's easier said then done. Try to find a balance. Journal it. Good luck. Italianmomma
There's a theory that anger is just the outward manifestation of hurt, fear and/ or frustration.
This seems to hold true for me in most cases- I get angry when I don't feel in control (my main source of anger I'm a big fan of having my ducks in a row) then I get frustrated and anxious and angry.
I get protective of myself angry- aka- I'm hurt and it's easier to be angry at the source of my hurt than feel the hurt. Keeping feelings at bay can cause anxiety so I can see a link here.
When I am scared of course fear and anxiety well... yeah... I can get angry- back to that lack of being in control.
So long way of saying yes, I think there is a link here. I feel that anger is protective of deeper feelings and thoughts- it of course has its place in our lives and at times we should feel angry but I think this theory holds its weight too.
Glad you like my questions. I try to keep them interesting. Lol. I'm so glad you commented. You always put things into perspective. And I love that. When I get angry my anxiety goes through the roof. And when my anxiety hits me I get mad too. So it kinda of cuts both ways for me. I try to calm myself down. I do deep breathing and meditate and just stay focused in the moment. Maybe even pray. And I feel like this has helped me stay grounded and not get so angry. Anger does hold a place in our lives. It's for me knowing how to handle it and keep it under control. Sometimes not easy. But I'm working on staying calmer. And just not letting things bother me.
Thank you so much for your comment. You always explain it so well. Because it's what you do. Much love my friend. Italianmomma
