Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. My 41 year old son has been homeless since Hubby stopped cleaning up his messes last Fall. He has, of course, continued bullying his father for financial support for the entire time since, but I have been proud of how well Hubby has stood his ground. I have not given my eldest son money since his early 30's. Long enough that he has quit asking. He still isn't asking for money --yet-- but the list of favors he wants from me is staggering, even without the 3 grandkids I inherited when my youngest son died. If eldest son cares a feather or a fig about his orphaned nephew and nieces, he is keeping his concern well hidden behind the disparaging rants against me for not continuing as his loyal, happily abused servant.
Just venting. . . Emotional support needed. . .

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.
Little ones, little heartaches. Big ones, big heartaches.
It's hard to watch them fall, harder even to help them stand up by stepping back and letting them find their own way.
Here's to finding the peace within while expressing the emotions packed into the moment.
After I started dropping the enabling ball some odd years ago, Hubby picked up that ball and ran with it, ever so convinced that he was trying it all for the first time. That show was even harder to watch than enduring the rat sass, etc., first hand. I theorated that, perhaps, giving him the support he never gave me would make a diff. It didn't. It only prolonged the agony.
The good news is that Hubby's action as the prime enabler gave me a break from the name-calling and rat sass. Now that Hubby has drawn his line, it's my turn again.
"Challenge" is an understatement. . .
Hope you're able to find some peace.
