is there any chance of reframing his abandonment threat as an opportunity to work toward a happier, more secure you? a safe place, such as this one, to get your anxieties, etc., into words and share them with people who are struggling with similar issues can make all the diff in finding effective solutions. if nothing else, the sharing helps me feel less alone with all the psychoweirds of ^it^.

Might be worth trying? Seems you have a lot to talk about, a lot going on in your life, and a therapist could help get some clarity and some direction.
I would suggest you get yourself to a good family law attorney in your area, consultations are often free for a half hour or so. You need to know what your legal rights are in your area. If this partner is the father of your children, he will be obligated to pay child support and have visitation rights. If you are married, you may have legal rights to family money and he may have legal obligations to pay the bills. In my state, legally the one spouse or partner can't just walk out as they are expected to pay their share of the bills as before. But that is not always easy to force and means taking them to court which does cost money for an attorney. Knowing your rights and obligations under your state's law can help you deal with this troubling news from the partner. And going to couples counseling could potentially help you two learn to work together more. I don't know what his expectations of you are, so I advise this with caution.
It’s s a lot to process and work through. But you are worth it, whatever happens in your relationship.
be great to see a therapist for support.

I do know the feelings of raw anxiety. Do you have family or good friends that you can spend time with? I hope that you are safe and focusing on yourself. These powerful emotions can wreak havoc on our wellbeing. One step at a time.
