Anger Management Support Group
Anger management commonly refers to therapeutic techniques by which someone with excessive or uncontrollable anger can control or reduce their emotions. Typical examples include the use of deep breathing and meditation as a means to relaxation. Psychologists recommend a balanced approach, which both controls the emotion and allows it to express itself in a healthy way.
I haven't had a problem for quite a while now, but that is because I am free to "run". When things get tense I leave. It is only when I am backed into a corner and cannot escape that things go bad.
As for Christianity, well god hasn't done much for me in the past and I don't see he/she/it doing much in the future. Trust me I would love to find a god that was worthy of worship but have not found one yet.
it really gets me down because in general i'm not a violent person, with some drinks, i used to handle it brilliantly, but it seems whenever i down something i black out instantly and become this whole other person.
But when i wake up, i'm in shock because i'm wondering what the hell i'm doing.
I remember 'waking up' one time, i had blood all over the floor and walls and doors and all over my leg, i slashed my leg whilst i was blank and now i have 4 deep scars. I also ran away that night and usually these blackouts come after arguments and him storming off.
Me and my sister came to a conclusion - the boyfriend i had at the time, he was emotionally and physically abusive and we thought thats whats triggering the blackouts with violent/dangerous behaviour, since i broke up with him, they seemed to have settled. It's only happend once, since.
I have been to councelling, psycologists and alchol addiction workers. I was diagnosed with Bi-polar and borderline personality disorder. With a mild touch of schitzophrenia.
I'm currently working on controlling, my method which seems to be working so far is when you feel your blood boiling, breath in and out slowly and count to ten. It usually works.
I hope you get this sorted out soon ::) x

I've never hurt anybody, but I don't want to, either. And that's what scares me more than anything. I'm out of control and have no idea of how to control myself.
Yes, I did come pretty close to fainting.
