Anger Management Support Group
Anger management commonly refers to therapeutic techniques by which someone with excessive or uncontrollable anger can control or reduce their emotions. Typical examples include the use of deep breathing and meditation as a means to relaxation. Psychologists recommend a balanced approach, which both controls the emotion and allows it to express itself in a healthy way.
I am reminded of the words of David Banner, "Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry>"
All I remember is seeing the guy hitting my friend, that's it. Several people told me I went completely nuts on every person in sight. I am glad that there weren't any weapons nearby.
Other than that I can only remember one other occurence. During that blackout I told a man I was going to kill him. His girlfriend was crying. My friend who was there told me it kind of scared him. I do not like it when this happens. It really scares me because I honestly do not have control. Like you, I avoid confrontation as much as possible because I do not want to hurt anyone. But when it finds me I lose control. I haven't blacked out in a few years, I keep myself out of situations that may cause it.
I am in a constant "On Guard" mode.
Hugs, peace and blessings to you.
recently the main cause of my violent outbursts are because of my dogs. i dunno maybe its cause im pregnant? but last week i got so mad out of no where and i ended up throwing scissors at the dog and then screamed in its face and punched a glass jar and broke through it.
i can be in a perfectly okay mood and then its just one thing that sets me off and i cant control it.
i cry after my outbursts because i feel so out of control.
i also avoid confrontation with people because i really do not honestly know if i would stop hurting someone unless there was someone else there to stop me. ive never been in a fight with someone else where there wasnt a person to stop me.
