I'm near the forty day mark of a new sober lifestyle . The thing I don't miss at all is that morning headache,,,the feeling that your head could explode at any minute if you moved the wrong way . I always thought I had sinus issues ,,,well if I did ,,,not drinking beer has made my sinus problems all better ,,,the benefits of not drinking are growing daily . What do you not miss about drinking???????

I don't miss hearing ,,,dad are you ok??????????????? ,,,and the big lie that would follow ,,Im fine ,,,,,, now,,,,, I am fine ,,,Im not perfect ...but I'm doing good

I don't miss all the drinks I had after the 2nd one, which was every night. I don't miss the ruined days because I felt too crappy to live my life to the fullest because I drank too much the night before.

I missed nothing, but got its claws back in 3 days ago, soo many positives for not drinking, seems mad I did again, hey ho, on we go :)

I don't miss many things but most of all I don't miss, waking up with my heart pounding in the middle of night trying to recreate the events of the night before and knowing that you have to wait hours before you 'casually call someone' to stealthily put the events back together and make a list of folks you need to apologize to.

And ladies, I don't miss the dry skin and dry brittle hair, bloodshot eyes and puffiness that refuses to go away.

Peeking at my cell phone to see who I drunk dialed and tested and looking at the call log to see how long they let me ramble!!!!! Embarrassing! One time I graced my boss with a call,,,it was horrible
