Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

it was a gift from God that got me sober....I prayed and asked for help....I also joined AA back then....I had wanted nothing to do with AA until then.....I went to my first meeting with a desire to start staying sober a week before my sober day....which was June 14, 1995 on Guam.....AA is everywhere pretty much....there are some places we do not have established meetings but most parts of the world do have them.....hope you find them if you need them....hugs

Look to this day,
For it is life,
The very life of life.
In its brief course lie all
The realities and verities of existence,
The bliss of growth,
The Splender of power ----
For Yesterday is but a dream,
And Tomorrow is only a vision.
But today, well lived,
Makes every yesterday a deam of happiness,
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well, therefore, to this day.
Sanskrit proverb by Kalidasa,
Indian poet and playwright,
Fifth century A.D.
I trust this will be as inspirational to you as it has to many before you.
And Lukie...I love that poem!!!
Make today well lived
and tomorrow a vision of hope.
The splendor of power
The bliss of growth.
Thanks all...
Another day well lived here!
