Peeve: Men and eyebrows

Why is it that women shave their pits, legs, perhaps toes and pluck a few things here and there on their faces and trim a special something here and there...
Yet men do not maintain one thing that is going hairwire as they age. Their eyebrows!!

I bet a million, hairy bucks that if my eyebrows were as bad as the mens' out there...there would be no reason to trim me lil spots.

Oh...how does this relate to recover?
Easily...taking care of your outside as well as the inside.

lol...got meself out of that one....

Gotta sneaking feeling I'm going to be ranting today. Perhaps I should just go back to developing my cottage garden.

but what if the brows cover the eyes like in donald trump? i guess in his case we look into his wallet. lol!

Do you know WhooHoo, that everytime I see a Butterfly I think about you. Wondering how you are doing and if you are happy. Does that tell you anything? Yes, I care and so do many people. It is good to Laugh and enjoy life. It is sad to me if you are unhappy. You deserve joy! Even if is watching these crazies.

I laugh a lot at myself. I live literally in 'hippy central' here in SE Vermont and I come out of yoga with no makeup but I've still got earrings on and some nice yoga clothing. I am drenched with sweat and people ask why I'm so dressed up. LOL. It's nice not to have the pressure but when I'm performing or out of town my life is so different. I enjoy it now. I like putting on makeup, dresses, cool shoes.... I don't know...... we do have more pressure to look good in so many ways as I don't see a LOT of men making an effort but I have seen some and that's always worth it. Eye candy is a good thing:) LOL

OH and I've NEVER plucked my eyebrows. I use a straight razor. My mom used one and I've always used one since I was 13. I've only cut myself once and it was my pointer finger on my right hand reaching for the straight razor. Not so bad for a woman in her early 30's. It's fast and easy. Take that as you will

I have really good eyebrows so I only have to do below the arch. I also have my stylist wax them but that only lasts so long. Only under the arch and a little between the eyebrows. I was blessed with great arches in my eyebrows. I imagine if I'd not been trained on a straight razor that I'd be scared too but it's just second nature. Soap or moisturizer, razor blade, mirror and that's it. Thankfully I never did it drunk.

I'd be lucky to have a nose let alone eyebrows. I SWEAR by this method but maybe my Mom is just nuts. Well she is but I love her and she was never an alkie just bi-polar. Thank heaven there was no alcohol mixed in with that!

God has blessed me with hair in all the right places. I am not going to mess with HIS handy work. So... could someone please tell the "dreaming" one to quit trying to pluck that one wild hair in my left eyebrow... damn that hurts.
